Christian Cooks of America's purpose is to encourage people (who have the love of cooking) to fellowship with one another through friendly competitions and an excellent atmosphere. About CCA
CCA was founded by Andrew Cordova after attending other BBQ competitions 
sanctioned by other organizations. Andrew has played softball on a Christian league for many years and it occurred to him that there should be a Christian BBQ organization too. Andrew did some extensive research and verified that this kind of organization did not exist. A Christian BBQ organization would provide a family friendly safe atmosphere for some great competitive competition! In establishing this organization one of Andrew's main goals was to help churches, Christian schools, and other Christian organizations raise funds by hosting competitive cook-offs in a God honoring environment. Andrew is also very excited that CCA offers him the opportunity for him to share his faith with all who attend a CCA competition.
